To Walpole.  Lunch there. Back at 1.30 Did not go to Walkers To Chila & Boid Dinner at 8.  In white - nice time after all.  Sat between Philip Hale and Maurice Grey.  Back at 11.30.

Jan 9.
Reworked Glad We did not go to G. To Walpole and had to [[underlined]] trolley [[/underlined]]. Was going to Blakes to dinner but [[underlined]] dined here [[/underlined]].  Welldon came then Mary Hale then Schofield - nice time -

Jan 10.
To Walpole.  did C's boots.  Stayed late and got back at 4.30  Rushed and went to Cambridge. D. Ross dinner - Mrs Bradley. T. Coolidge. & A.P.A. The [[underlined]] best [[/underlined]]. I believe. Arranged for Sunday Happy.!! Beware.

Walpole.  Wonderful soft day.  longed for Gloucester Back at .1.30 and to Hidda Gabler with Anne Blake nice time.  Afterwards Wendell. Tea. A.P.A there & tried to walk home.  Schofield first.  To West.  minister. Cafe with him.  nice time.  Very happy day.

Jan 13
Walpole.  and hoping for prod day.  Sunday.  Back to Sembrich Concert with Belle Greene. .A.P.A. opp. but did not speak. or see.  Dinner at Blakes . . .  Bed early [[underlined]] tomorrow [[/underlined]].
