And I went to the Studio one day and drew it on a piece of plastertine. It only took a moment for it was all formed in my mind. I left it standing there and Mr. Fraser happened to come in. He said "That is fine, it is great, cast it just as it is"! Of course it was only suggested in the roughest possible way, but it just did have the feeling. I sent Mac's head to the exhibition in 57 St. & it was accepted. So it is there on exhibition now and gives me a distinct feeling. I have never cared about exhibiting or wanted to and had any feeling to pride about it, but I see now that as long as I have gone into the thing seriously I must do so. I must finish up some thing. Have something to show people and be sending about to different exhibitions. For instance it will help me with the Pasteur group that is in the minds of the women connected with that if I have had success in a worldly way. I will finish the man on the rock & send it to Baltimore.

Transcription Notes:
The material is plastiline, a French/German version of plasticine which GVW has misspelled as *plasterline."
