now dressed for dinner waiting for the gong to sound.  I pray to God that I may do my best this evening.  Amen.  I wonder what they are all doing in Newport now - Having dinner I suppose.  Has anyone thought of me I wonder?  No, silly.  If I do not come up too late tonight, I feel in the mood for writing a little story or sketch.

came up, I went right to bed, and was asleep in two minutes.  This morning it looks like rain, but we hope it will keep off so that ——

Mo does not care beans for me anymore, if he ever did, which I doubt.  I know I was looking well to-night, but everything went wrong  I wanted to quarrel ^[[just he]] and me now perhaps we are going to have a real quarrel.  Well to tell the truth I don't care if we do, but I hope
