asking if I would be at skating club next morning.  But I only went for a second and did not see him.  So we have still to discuss interesting affairs.

Mr Laurence is the most harmless individual.  He goes to church to see me, he comes in very late and very often, he tries to say nice things to me, but he is completely harmless, poor fellow.  I can't imagine anyone in the world falling in love with him, and what is worse I can't imagine that he is able to love anyone, but he evidently thinks he is.

Mr Harrison still cares though I have not seen so much of him lately.  He has a strange way of looking at you.  Feeding on the fat of the land has decidedly improved him.

Mo was so nice on Saturday, and I felt I still had power over him though I had not seen him for two weeks.  He came again Sunday.  He looked pale on Saturday and not well, he has been in bed two weeks with the Grippe.  I think he will come and see me this afternoon.  I have a sort of feeling.  Gracious
