We are going to ride together again on Monday, & Saturday we are [[insertion]] both [[/insertion]] going on Mrs Belmont's coach.

Yesterday was such a nice day. The Belmonts coach took up from 11.15 to 7.10 and as I was dining at the Fields at 7 you can imagine I was a little late. But it was all delightful especially the evening part. 
I was taken ill yesterday during the day so will have to put off my ride with Mr Ronalds from Monday I think to Thursday.

On the coach were - Me & Mrs A. Belmont. Misses Wilson, Livingston, Garrison, Tiffany & S-. Mr Appleton, Wilson, Taylor, Lydig & Ronalds.

I am quite sure I know what Mr Sands is doing now. He is staying away purposely, just to make me care. We will see, he will be mightily disappointed. I shall act as if I had seen him the day before if he ever calls.

I have gotten myself into the most annoying position. Perhaps if I state the case clearly it will give me light on the subject. If people would only not confide in me, but they invariably
