Life is not worth living just now. I hate myself, but then what difference does that make. I can't quite make out if Mo is in love with me or not. Sometimes I think he is sometimes not. To-day I thought he was. Mr Stewart watched us like cat & dog to day at lunch. Every time Mo looked at me Mr S. looked at Mo & visa versa

After lunch -
G.L. By the way do you know if Miss Sands is engaged?

Nettie - I don't really know

Mr S. - What do you think about it?

G.L. I can't say as I have not even seen them together.

G.L. Well I should think you tell a little

Mr S. I don't think you can a bit because they are always on the lookout, and are even more indifferent than they would otherwise be.
