Monday I went to the Opera, this time Mr Stewart came in the box and made jokes about my excuses and said he had never been so mortified, etc etc.
Tuesday Mr Ronalds and I had a ride that was delightful fast & short. We passed Mr Stewart twice. He looked daggers. That evening I dined at the Pomeroys. Not particularly nice.
