"Roger, Maple tower, Green two out." Green two will buzz the runway, execute the prescribed pattern for the runway (viz.right or left hand turns) then: Maple tower this is Green two on base, over."

"Green tow, this is Maple tower, you're clear to pancake (land) check wheels down and locked, caution strong cross wind from eleven o'clock, over."

"Roger, Maple tower. Green two out." Plane then lands. If there is any other pertinent information which the tower thinks is necessary it will so advise pilot.
