Maj. General Jones [[strikethrough]]and[[/strikethrough]] General Moore and Colonel Alford stopped in this afternoon to watch a few special P-61 runs. The P-61 was sent up for the benefit of the generals and we really gave them three runs that were zero-zero on the meters. They left duly impressed. Colonial Alford was beaming... I guess he feels as though owns the unit and I can't very well blame him. After all, He was the only one who was interested enough at first to test it when we first came here. If he were our own C.O. we could have everything we want. As a matter-of-fact if we were under the command of anyone but AACS we could have the moon if we so desired. Ratings? They'sd force us to take them.

The fighters returned early this afternoon- the entire mission was aborted because of the weather.

We worked on mantainance this afternoon. Jesse Middleman, Ed's cousin, dropped in this afternoon, and we shot the breeze for a while.

AACS is setting up a screen and projector booth in our own area. It will save quite a walk which we used to take either to the SeeBee area or to the Skunk Hollow Theater.
