The agreed stopping places shall be the place or places, if any, stated opposite the words "Route Via" above. As provided for in said Convention, the Companies hereby reserve the right to alter the stopping places in case of necessity, and the exercise of that right shall not have the effect of depriving the transportation/carriage of it's "international" character: and, as further provided in said Convention, transportation/carriage to be performed by several successive Companies under the annexed Flight Coupon(s) shall be deemed, for the purposes of said Convention, to be "one undivided transportation/carriage", since such transportation/carriage is hereby regarded by the parties hereto as a single operation; however, none of the Companies assumes liability for the whole journey; and it is agreed that transportation/carriage under any of the annexed Flight Coupons or under any baggage check/luggage ticket of any of the Companies shall not be considered part of any transportation, carriage, service or operation to which none of the terms, conditions, provisions, rules or regulations herein stated or referred to are hereby expressly made applicable. The terms "transportation", "baggage", "baggage check", "checked baggage" and "airport" as used herein, in baggage checks of the Companies and in the baggage valuation declarations (which are terms employed in the official American text of said Convention of Warsaw) shall be deemed to include the following respective equivalent terms employed in the official British test of said Convention, namely, "carriage", "luggage", "luggage ticket", "registered luggage" and "airdrome", whether or not such latter terms are expressly stated in every instance herein and in such baggage checks

The passenger having been offered a choice of rates according to value, it is agreed that the liability of the Companies shall be limited to and shall not exceed $100 U.S. currency (or it's equivalent) in the aggregate, or such lesser as may be permitted or provided for by applicable law, for any loss, damage or delay of, to or in connection with articles to be checked as baggage (herein referred to as checked baggage) although such articles may be covered by more than one baggage check, or $100 U.S. currency (or its equivalent) in the aggregate, or such lesser sum as may be permitted or provided for by applicable law, for any loss, damage or delay of, to or in connection with other articles (herein referred to as unchecked baggage), the value of such checked and unchecked baggage being deemed to be not more that such amounts respectively and the fare(s) having been adjusted on said valuations, unless and until a higher value be declared (which the passenger shall have the right to do) and the additional charges based thereon be paid in accordance with the tariffs of the Company(ies), in which event the liability of the Companies shall be limited to and shall not exceed he amount of such higher valuation in effect at the time of the loss, damage or delay. Such provisions shall be applicable notwithstanding that the loss, damage or delay may have been due to negligence on the part of one or more of the Companies, or of its or their representatives, agents or servants. Liability for partial loss or damage shall be computed upon the basis of the combined valuations of checked and unchecked baggage in effect at the time of such loss or damage.
