This is Mrs. Graham B. Grosvenor, wife of one of the members of the executive committee. To be one of the passengers on this flight across the Atlantic, has been an experience that is the outstanding event of my lifetime. It is difficult to express the thrill one feels towards spanning the ocean, and the pride in realizing that the Pan American Company has made this achievement possible. The knowledge and the remarkable scientific training undergone by the officers and crew and the resultant efficiency demonstrated by them inspires us all with confidence. The trip is a most comfortable one as well as an entirely pleasant one.

Mrs. E.O. McDonnell, speaking aboard the Dixie Clipper, returning from Europe. Congratulations to Pan American for making this wonderful trip possible. Crossing the ocean in 24 hours makes Europe a near neighbor, and we can now go over and back so quickly that people may take the trip that they ordinarily haven't time for, and without the feeling that they are a long way from home. We had breakfast in Europe this morning, and tomorrow we will breakfast in New York. The Clipper is a beautiful spacious ship, with all the comforts of an ocean liner. The weather is perfect, and we are traveling so smoothly that there is no sensation of flying at all.
