Mr. McVittie--2

I would say that the trip back was a little different where I had to sleep in the hold with 1400 Chinese who were on their way to Java, but, however, I reached Hong Kong and from there I continued on the same way back to Frisco, and from there took the Western Air to Salt Lake, and the United back to Chicago.

On this particular trip now, we are crossing the Atlantic at the rate of 190 miles per hour, and we have some very distinguished people aboard.

I might say that riding on the Clipper we made the trip across to Marseilles in 28 hours, and 50 minutes.

This is Mr. McVittie of the Union League Club of Chicago aboard the Dixie Clipper on its way to Horta, where will arrive in the next hour. After remaining thee for a short time we will continue on to Port Washington, New York. This has been a very, very wonderful trip. I cannot say too much in praise of this wonderful ship. There is very little vibration, the crew is excellent, very courteous, does everything, and is looking forward to making this trip a great pleasure for all of us.
