One clump growing at edge
of river in igarapo forest, Some
of plant partially immerse.
Plant up to [[strikethrough]]6[[/strikethrough]]5? cm ±.
Culm smooth, and [[?]], and
[[underlined]] no spines [[/underlined]], In some nodes [[underlined]] (few) [[/underlined]]
one of the lateral buds pointed 
looking like a thorn.
Branch complement typically 
Bambusa style.: Main axis
strongly dominant with 
[[thickened?]], as an oval bulb, 
[[regenerated?]] and divergent from 
culm in a wide angle, some 
times up to 90° or so.
[[?]] axis coming at [[symbol for unequal]] 
level of the base of [[symbol for 1st]] one, and 
also [[strikethrough]] growing [[/strikethrough]] spreading out
