Cleveland. I should like to, and I should like, also, to come through Chicago (one reason is that I want to meet the DePriest's candidate, if there is one). I am sorry that I cannot be definite about it. As I see it now, I shall do one of two things - proceed New York - Cleveland - Chicago - Tuskegee (by June 20th) or New York - Washington - Tuskegee (before June 20th). I shall be glad to conform to your desires, if you find it [[underlined]] convenient [[/underlined]] to make the trip, however.

If you make the trip, there's no need, of course, for you to send me any money. I'm not sure how much I'll have (no statement yet), but I think I may as well see if I cant make it home without asking you for any. About all I'll need is railroad fare [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] plus a little for living expenses. If I find I don't have enough to go to Chicago I'll come home directly through Washington.

I'm certainly glad you've fixed up the riding, and I assure you that I shall certainly be happy to be home again.

Give my love to Grandma and all the folks, and let me know what you intend to do.

Lovingly,
