M. says that they're quieter than [[underlined]] rosalia. [/underlined]] They [[deleted]] [[?]] [/deleted]] have had two births of [[underlined]]chrysopygus. [/underlined]] Animals were collected in area which was heavy with [[under-lined]]Cebus [/underlined]]. They tried to lure them in with food, but [[underlined]]Cebus [/underlined]]took all food. Eventually trapper caught all of them in hole in tree, cut tree down and brought them back in the hollow cavity (1 1/2' long X 8-10" wide) They still have the hollow. M. says they would only use it for sleeping. There are a pair of 7-8 month old h.r.rosalia which have very [[underlined]] pale [/underlined]], almost white,[[sketch of face]] hair where normally there is black. Curious! [[end page]] [[start page]] (Also at the bank are some [[underlined]]C. jaechus[/underlined]]X [[underlined]] C. pencillata [/underlined]] hybrids.) M & Coimbra just getting ready for receipt of 11 or 12 [[underlined]]L.r. rosalia [/underlined]] from Rio Grande do Sul Zoo. Were being offered to Rio Grande director by someone who wanted to sell them. Director at Rio Grande phoned, offered the animals on condition that dealer/trader not be named. Although illegal to have [[underlined]]L.R.rosalia [/underlined]] for sale, Magnanini asked that IBDF not force him to find out who had obtained the animals (were being sold from Rio). Otherwise no animals. M. has no hope for L.r.rosalia except thru the bank.
