Press conference went well & monkeys & I got thru customs [altho Dietz said Dionisio took monkeys out before going thru customs & they were almost siezed [[sic]]].

Headed in convoy [with Bob Nelson] [& his family] out to CPRJ to let monkeys out.

Quarantine not completed & since I had brought more monkeys than they had expected we had to stop & buy some bird cages near the center to hold all the animals.

Discussions re: cost & I said we'd pay.

At CPRJ, arrangements to unload GLTs complicated. I explained how to separate the animals & who should go in which room & Roberto & keepers insisted on releasing animals behind closed doors with me outside.

Took several hours to get cages organized & animals release.

Photographer from magazine then insisted on taking photos of artfully organized ^[[empty]] crates while photographer's asst. sat in car. Photos of [[?]] looking gracefully into empty sky kennel !!!
