swamp with @1000 marked trees in order to get a fix on average dbh & height of trees. He believes that GLTs are 2nd growth / or multi-strata adapted i.e. they need either low continuous canopy or messy 2nd growth. He is worried already that as the PdA forest grows it will become unusuable for GLTs. I think that we have a long way to go, but generally agree. Unfortunately since most of PdA has been cut over in the past, we do not whether the low stature swamp [[end page]] [[start page]] forest is low because it is young or whether it will never grow tall. Food: The GLTs must be getting invertebrates, small vertebrates & water from bromeliads. They may forage on the ground for insects naturally despite Coimbra's thinking. Nest trees: There are den trees in some of the low stature forest & the GLTS are clearly preferring to use holes. However it is likely that groups have 2-3 or more denning trees around their territories which they use.
