Her weight loss may derive from the lack of an [[end page]] [[start page]] alpha male & her[[strikethrough]]e[[/strikethrough]] role as the major caretaker, even with so many juveniles around. [[strikethrough]] ♂ #5 [[/strikethrough]] ♀ #1 is clearly showing or emitting signs of heat since both males 7 & 8 are consorting with her and mounting. However Dietz thought that she might be pregnant so it could be a false heat of pregnancy - although [[strikethrough]] I [[/strikethrough]] it should be more obvious with palpation ^[[(altho. JMD thought she might be preg. with palpation)]] #5 ♂ is arch walking periodically, also suggesting some tension in the group. ♀ #6 hangs around ♀ #1
