Individual - group responses to the release were fascinating. [[circled]] 1 [[/circled]] The group all came home to sleep in their own nest box. [[circled]] 2 [[/circled]] There was no strict rest period for the group, they hit the next box a tad early, & most animals ate very little. [[circled]] 3 [[/circled]] #6 & #9 did an incredible amount of exploring. Found grubs in holes - went high; moved distances & jumps that were amazing. Hit 10-12 meter heights; 4 meter jumps; [[end page]] [[start page]] Ron often followed #6. And Mark followed Ron. The infants were not observed to nurse successfully for the whole lay. They did, however, eat play, & explored at all heights & substrates. Coprophagy was only seen once. #8 & #7 were mutually destroying each other's collars by the afternoon with help from #5 & #9. Indeed #7 & #8 ended up chewing & pulling on each other's collars & transmitters by about 1300-1400 hours. They had found a mutual interest.
