We are hiding ^[[(or placing)]] food all around the viveiro (between 7-10 m. & in all directions). Food includes ground meat; quail's eggs in nests, apple, orange, banana, & other more natural fruits.

Animals may spend 1-2 hrs at a time outside viveiro at a distance & then return to rest on the nest box & eventually go to bed in the nb.

#5 ♂ is in some kind of conflict #7 ♂ who is consorting with his mother ♀ #1. #7 follows her constantly and #5 is clearly nervous.

One interaction which suggested a serious problem involved the new nest hole where the whole family (except ♂ #8) were inside & #5 emerged with his rump & tail out & head still in.

He screeched loudly while his tail lashed around - much like Ron the infant when begging for feces.

A highly aroused, somewhat aggressive/defensive behavior, certainly somewhat frightened.

The next day he was seen to avoid #7 when they were close together & to infant rasp. Often we have heard rasps from juveniles under stress directed to more dominant individuals.
