On way to Silva Jardim, bump into Dionisio (are such meetings random?) with a politico from Brasilia. (Delegado from Brasilia office) looking into the rental of space for the subdelegaçao office to be developed at Silva Jardim.

Jim is lectured to by this man about deforestation & we finally get away.

He is about 35-40; self important; with to big a gut; smokes; & appears to be a political hack.

But getting Brasilia to agree to these subdelegation offices is a really good victory for Dionisio.
