b) [[underlined]] Pteronura [[/underlined]] are beginning to be seen more commonly in Pantanal. There is a physician studying them on private ranches & Ibsen thinks I could get info. re: study sites from him. 

Recommendation: I write Ibsen 2-3 mos before visit & he will try to arrange some visits to some sites in Mato [[strikethrough]] s [[/strikethrough]] Grosso. He suggests that private fazendas may be better than nat'l parks.

We also asked Ibsen for help with names of students & what was happening at zoo Rio: For the latter, he suggested waiting until the dust settled. 

LAD then spent some time on accts. with FBCN Acct. by which time we were almost late for IBDF appt. So FBCN lent Jim some horrendous amt. of money.
