Zeke & Inez return in the middle of the processing & both help. We end up with an army of helpers climbing over each other.

It's clear from processing that in some cases there are more than 2 litters per group or more than 2 females becoming pregnant. How this relates to mating system & social orgn. isn't clear.

Some of the animals coming in are recaptures for the 7th time and have

been tattooed for [[strikethrough]] nearly over [[/strikethrough]] nearly 2 years.

It is very frustrating with trapping, however, because the animals you trap may or may not be the [[underlined]] whole [[/underlined]] group and, the trapped [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] animals may or may not be from the same group, altho in the same location.

Laurenz has trapped 2 sloths which are "hanging" around on the floor while our army processes animals. Periodically Octavio touches one & it comes out w/ a most pathetic "mew" sound. The sloths eventually sleep next door.

Amusing vignettes include Octavio alway being one step ahead of me on animal IDs & patiently listening to me explain the Nyanzol marks.
