After a shower, Jim, Elpidio, Octavio and I process 4 animals. One, a very old unmarked ♀, never before trapped. Her forearm is broken at the humerus, near the the shoulder & it looks like a new break. Later Jim speaks w/Elpidio [[strikethrough]] whs [[/strikethrough]] who indicates that he doesn't think so because she emerged from trap and climbed a tree straight away as tho not at all inconvenienced. Meanwhile Jim & I are guilty after processing because it looks like a break caused by the trapping procedure. After dinner Jim and I get into argument @ [[end page]] [[start page]] 27 Feb 86 his training of Pandora & Aphrodite after they were removed from the single tree they occupied in Pesagro. Jim "casually" trained them in the little cage beyond field headquarters & found that they were incredibly good when released. I get up tight because I detect criticism of Ben's techniques & how ^[[in]]efficient they were. And Jim's saying "maybe we didn't need to spend all that time & money" & I say but we're doing research & there are too many variables & you don't even know what you did! And so it went until bed!
