2.[[underlined]]AIR CORPS.[[/underlined]]
[[underlined]]a.[[/underlined]] winter flying equipment issued to individuals and organizations
will be turned in to the Air Corps Supply Officer for storage
during the summer months. Leather flying equipment, except winter equipment, held on memorandum receipt, will be turned in to the Air Corps Supply Officer by the responsible officer, for treatment every six months. Winter flying equipment will be treated by the Air Corps Supply
Officer when turned in for storage and before re-issue.
[[underlined]]b.[[/underlined]] Non-expendable Air Corps property that becomes unserviceable through fair wear and tear will be turned in to the Air Corps Supply Officer on the 5th of each month with certificate of unserviceability. The certificates of unserviceability will show the part number and the exact nomenclature of the property to be turned in, as shown by the Memorandum Receipt Account. The certificates will be turned in to the Air Corps Supply Officer for check on the 1st of each month.
[[underlined]]c.[[/underlined]] Cleaning rags that become unfit for further use through
saturation with oil or grease will not be disposed of. They will be placed in a receptacle at least 50 feet from any building.
