Dear Fellow Members,

To become a member of an Officers' Wives Club is an easy step indeed, but it is my earnest wish that we make he most of the privilege which is granted by this membership.

The functions of our club are routine in many respects. However, the opportunities to contribute our individual talents toward a richer program are boundless. Coming as we do from widely scattered sections of the nation, east, west, from large cities, small towns - our varying backgrounds would seem to block the attainment of a common purpose. But these very differences in interests and experiences can be of greatest value to our organization. They bring new ideas, and vitality to its activities. As the end result, and the most important of all, is the development of mutual interests. This fellowship created in combing our efforts will extend far beyond the confines of Lockbourne Air Force Base, and will endure as long as life itself.

With these thoughts, I wish for all a successful year.

Alice Suggs, President
