she affiliated with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Before her marriage to Lt. Leon V. Creed on June 3, 1942, Maria worked as clerk in the home office of the North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Col, was Secretary to the Director of the USO in Durham, N.C.; for a while she was roll clerk at Tuskegee Army Air Field, and chief clerk in the Signal Office at the same Field. Just about all Maria's time now is devoted to her two handsome sons, Leon, four years, and George, three years. She does find time to bowl occasionally.

Daisy Juanita McMurray Crockett

Daisy must find her hobby, sewing, quite useful in planning wardrobes for her two small daughters, Marcia, five years, and Rose Mary, two years. You see, Daisy is a Home Economics Major from Arkansas State College, Pine Bluff, Ark. Born on Aug. 30, Daisy worked for two years in the Office of the Dean of Women on the campus of Arkansas State College. That was before she exchanged wedding vows with Capt. Woodrow W. Crockett on May 9, 1942. Housekeeping is a full time job, but Daisy manages somehow to find time for reading or playing bridge.

Agatha Josephine Scott Davis

Agatha was born on January 23rd at New Haven, Connecticut. Before her marriage on June 20, 1936 to Col. Benjamin O. Davis, Agatha attended New Haven State Normal, Art Institute, Yale University, and taught school. During the war she was an inspector at Sperry Gyroscope in Brooklyn and a clerk in the Railway Mail Service in New York.
