Agatha's favorite hobby is traveling, and she has certainly seen much of the world -- Europe, Mexico, Canada, and very recently the West Indies. Agatha is a very energetic person. She believes that bridge is her favorite pastime; although gardening, art, sewing, and Chairmanship of the Publicity Committee consume much of her time. Working with the club has almost become a part of Agatha. She is one of our Charter Members and was our first President, a job which she held for two successful years.

Imogene Veronica Terrell Driver

Imogene will celebrate a birthday very soon, in fact, on March 21st. A graduate of Tuskegee Institute, Imogene has been married to Capt. Elwood T. Driver since December 13, 1942. Sewing is her hobby; pinochle and bridge, her favorite card games.

Ora Nadine Gilbert Ellis

Have you noticed the unusual clothes Ora wears? She makes them in her spare time when she isn't reading, bowling, playing pinochle or listening to records. Ora was born one Christmas Day in Grand Lake, Ark. but has spent much of her life in St. Louis. Lt. William Ellis and Ora were married August 21, 1941. Ora has a sincere interest in helping other people, and so it is natural that she chose nursing as her profession. She received her regular nurse training at Freedman's Hospital in Washington, D.C. and then spent another year in order to specialize in anesthesia. For two years she worked in Psychiatry in Detroit.
