Thelma Juanita Printoss Evans

Thelma has been married to Capt. George G. Evans since June 15, 1948. Born Dec. 18th not so many years ago in Kokomo, Indiana, Juanita lived in Cincinnati, Ohio until she entered West Virginia State College at Institute, West Virginia. For a few months she was a substitute teacher at the Mt. Vernon School in Columbus. If you can't find her, she may be found on a bridle path riding her favorite horse. The children of the neighborhood are very fond of their grown up friend and can be seen making their way to her daily.

Elizabeth Margaret Carrington Gillead

Elizabeth, a former President of our club, comes from New York City, where she was born on September 24th. She attended New York University before her marriage to Lt. LeRoy Gillead on March 6, 1943. They are kept very bush with their three sons; yet Elizabeth find time to read, crochet, and attend sports events. She likes to recall the time she worked as a lathe operator in a defense factory during the war. Although most of you don't know it, Elizabeth sings beautifully.

Lucille Graves Gleed

Lucille, our ex Vice-President, who was acting President a good part of last year comes from Horton, Kansas where she was born on March 22nd and where she received her schooling. It was on May 12, 1943 that Lucille and Major Edward C.
