HOUSEHOLD HINTS

An easy quick dish for luncheon, dinner or supper is hot waffles with a cheese sauce flavored with chopped green or ripe olives.

If your children don't drink as much milk as they should, try adding a bit of canned fruit and its juice and calling it a milk shake.

For stirring and beating, you will find wooden sppons more satisfactory than metal ones.

Remove all grease from the top of the soup by throwing a lettuce leaf into the pot; this will absorb all the
grease and may be removed as soon as it has served its purpose.

The white of an egg applied to a burn or scald is most soothing and will cause the burn to heal quickly.

Never stretch table linen when ironing it. Iron while damp and press until dry to preserve its stiffness.

Lemons can be kept for a long period without drying, if stored in covered quart jars.

To prevent cream from splashing when whipping, cover the bowl with a sheet of paper, making a slit in the middle to fit over the beater. To avoid overbeating, add sugar and flavoring before starting to beat.

THE NURSERY
(Continued from Page One)

Air Installations has been most cooperative. They have prepared a project for conversion of building T-154 to our needs. This project has been approved by TAC and is now in Washington awaiting final action.

It is hoped that operating expenses can be kept at a minimum until the nursery is on its feet. The nursery
must be self supporting which means that the rates charged must take care of all operating expenses.

At present, the committee is worki on sources of equipment and necessary construction to convert building T-154 into a place so attractive that all the children will look forward to their daily visits to the Lockbourne nursery.

WHAT OUR HUSBANDS SAY ABOUT US

Marriage is a relationship that cannot survive selfishness, impatience, domineering, inequality and lack of respect. Marriage is a relationship that thrives on acceptance, equality, sharing, giving, helping and doing one's part.

FATHER's DAY

that they too are worthy of this special, national honor.

In truth Father does so much, gives so much and asks so little in return, mostly, a small portion of love and a
bit of respect, a dash of honor and a great deal of obedience.

A true, honest and upright Father tries to know and follow right principles for true living, because he knows he is a living example of real manhood to his family, his community, his state, his country and the world at large.

A story is told of a little girl who always became frightened during lightning storms at night. She would
cry out and her father would go to her bedside. Then she would murmur, "Hand father, hand. When the father took he little hand in his, she would then fal asleep, confident that nothing could harm her if only her father was there.

A real home is based on the cooperativeness of Mother and Father.

Because Father is doing so much that is visible and invisible in leadership to build true citizens of tomorrow it is with pleasure we join the nation
in a special day of honor to Father.
