SPECIALIST IN MELODY DIRECTS "SKYLANDER" CHROUS

A specialist in melody is Staff Sergeant Theodore Hunt, leader of the "Skylanders" chorus, a feature act in the one hour and fifteen minute parade of talent presented in the USAF's all-airman show, "Operation Happiness." Boasting more than eight years of experienced in all phases of choral work, Sergeant Hunt is ably prepared to head the "Skylanders" as they perform in this first post-war entertainment effort of the USAF's Special Services division.

A native of Detroit, Sgt. Hunt received his first vocal training in the high schools of that city. Later he became a student in the Wayne University Department of Music. Sergeant Hunt is also a former student at the Detroit Conservatory of Music, and has worked with the Navy Choir, the Westminster Choir, and with several choral groups in the USAF.

Talented both as a vocalist and an instrumentalist, Hunt plays the saxophone, the bass drum and they xylophone with gifted skill. His spare time is spent painting with oils, a favorite hobby that rounds out his artistic bent.
