IVORY TICLES THE IVORIES IN "OPERATION HAPPINESS" REVUE

Ivory he was born and "Ivory" he is today -- a twinkling fingered performer at the piano. Ivory Mitchell was so christened, almost prophetically, in Dunodin, Florida in 1930. Today Mitchell is a gifted pianist, capable of rendering popular and classic melodies with equal ease.

In "Operation Happiness," Mitchell gives out with a rendition of the Warsaw Concerto which has left limp audiences waiting for the last strains of his music to die out before their thunderous applause.

Mitchell has performed before students at the Ohio State University numerous times since his arrival at Lockbourne Air Force Base. He receives more invitations to play with concert and popular musical groups at the Buckeye University than he is able to accept. Mitchell has also been auditioned at local Columbus radio stations and has won a favored listening place on Central Ohio radio programs.

His easy swing from Boogie to Bach is one of the highlights of "Operation Happiness" as it rolls smoothly through an hour and fifteen minutes jam packed with musical, comic and dance entertainment.
