The Personnel Redistribution Board met at 0800 and adjourned at 1230.

A message was forwarded to Ninth Air Force that 39 aircraft would be available for flyaway as of 15 June.

At 1500, Colonel Davis called Colonel James W. Twitty, Deputy for Personnel, Ninth Air Force, concerning the commitment of personnel for the Air ROTC Summer Encampment at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Colonel Davis attempted to explain that because of the number of persons who will remain at Lockbourne for an indefinite period of time to complete the mission of closing the station, that it would handicapt this work considerably to meet the commitments for cooks and automobile equipment operators. However, after much discussion, Colonel Twitty directed that the personnel be procured by some means. As a result, the desired number of personnel to meet the commitment will be furnished; approximately 3 Officers and 54 Airmen.

All persons not available at this time who will return to the station, or to duty, will be recommended for assignments in accordance with qualifications indicated on records. This will also apply to Officers. A formal report of the proceedings of the Personnel Redistribution Board will be forwarded to Headquarters, United States Air Force, in approximately one week.
