Acapulco Registers Look Like U.S. Convention Roll
Hotel registers in Acapulco, favorite Mexican tourist resort, read like a catalogue of "those United States" this weekend. From New York to California the list was as complete as a party convention.
Among the visitors who sent down from Mexico City for swimming and fishing were, Mark Hopkins, the man who made roofs in California hotels; Emil F. Simon and his sister were at the Americas, having checked in from Chicago; Mr and Mrs R. Swanstrom who will leave shortly for Sweden were there; G. Marsteller from Arizona, and Miss Louise Geyer and Miss Delsey Treado from New York were stopping at the same hostelry.
In other hotels, we encountered such names as Edward W. Gray, Long Beach businessman, Mr and Mrs Richard Lewis of New York, the Richard Neims family were on their sixth trip from Dallas; B. O. Davis, well-known air lines official was in Acapulco for the fishing, Albert B. Pullen and Bill Pullen, and three lovely Canadian representatives the Misses Claire Labergem, Claire Cloutier and Fernanda Derbe.
