His wife, Margaret (Meg), was born in Lancashire, England, and suffers from the same tendencies. He can always be contacted thru Messrs. Williams Deacons Bank, at No. 127 CHEAPSIDE, LONDON, and maintains an "AWC-Guest Room," with running hot and cold beer for all who visit the U.K. 

HERBERT A. BOTT, COLONEL, USAF, 1026A

"Herb" was born 20 June '08, in New Orleans, LA. Attended Tulane University for a year, following which he started flying, receiving instructions from the Wedell-Williams Air Service. He received his commercial license in 1929, and organized his own flying service (Dixie Airways, Inc) in 1930, and continued this operation principally in new aircraft sales and service and aerial photography, until 1941. Employed as regional representative for Shell Aviation Corporation in 1934. During 1940 employed by American Export Airlines, assisting in operation of survey flights to Central America. In early 1941 assisted in organizations of the 122 Obs. Sqdn., Louisiana National Guard, inducted as Captain with the squadron in October 1941. Submarine Patrol followed for a few months after December 7th, during late 1942 assumed command of 13th Tac. R. Sqdn., in early 1943 assumed command of the 22nd Tac. R. Sqdn., in later 1943 commanded the 74th Tac. R. Group, and in April 1944 was on his way to the CBI, being ultimately assigned to 10th AF with duty as CO Forward Echelon. In February 1945, assumed command of the 3rd Combat Cargo Group, a few months later the 443rd Troop Carrier Group, accumulating in all approximately 430 combat hours. Returned to the States after eighteen months and was assigned to Hq. 1st Troop Carrier Command. From September of 1946 until assignment as student AWC, duty was as Senior Air Instructor 123rd Fighter Group, ANG, Kentucky. Proposed assignment is to FEAF, with duty as CO, 374th Troop Carrier Group. Principal hobby, golf, likes to putter with engines, is a "QB." Herb's wife, Jane, hails from Greenfield, Ohio. One child Herb, Jr., (age 19). 

ROBERT A. BREITWEISER, COLONEL, USAF, 1406A

"Bob" or "B-Weiser," was born 23 April 1916 in St. Joseph, the Air Corps. After getting his wings in 1939 he remained at Kelly Field as an instructor. The following four years were devoted to various instructing and staff jobs within the Training Command. In mid 1943, he was assigned to the 14th AF in China. While overseas, he served as Assistant A-3 of the 14th, A-3 of the 68th Composite
