Wing and 14th Liaison Officer to Hq, China Theater. After returning to the States in 1945, he served two years as Cheif, Requirements and Resources Branch, Military Personnel Division, Hq, USAF. In 1947 he was transferred to Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico, for a two year tour, the last year of which was as base commander. From Puerto Rico he reported to the AWC. His proposed assignment is to the OSAF, Hq, USAF. "Bob's" hobbies are fishing and tennis. New Bern, N.C. is the home of his wife, Eleanor (Stevie). His children are Bob, Jr. (age 9) and Binky (age 6). 

ROY R. BRISHCETTO, COLONEL, USAF, 1445A

Bob was born 22 May 1914 in St. Louis, Mo. He graduated from the USMA in 1938 and served one year in his basic branch before joining the Air Force in 1940. Having acquired the usual junior officer's duties, he finally took command of the 406th Bomb Sq. (M) in April 1942, flying in-shore patrols in the Northwest. In August 1943 he was appointed as A-3 of the San Francisco Fighter Wing. He went overseas as A-3 officer of the newly activated 85th Fighter Wing. With the Fifth Air Force, he saw action from New Guinea to the occupation of Japan. In December 1944 he was detailed in the GSC as Asst. Chief of Staff, A-3, of the 5th Fighter Command. After return to the U.S. in April 1945, he was assigned to HQ, USAF. He became Deputy Chief of the operations and Theaters Branch of the Operations Division and later Assistant Executive of P&O, USAF. After graduation from the AWC he is to assigned to the Air University on the AWC faculty. His wife, Geraldine (Gerry), is also from St. Louis. Children are Charlene (age 8), Bobby (age 7), Judy (age 3) and the fourth on the way (name and age unknown at present). 

JOHN A. BROOKS, III, COLONEL, USAF, 4059A

Johnny was born May 20, 1917. He attended Michigan State and the USMA, graduating in 1941. He obtained his wings at Kelly Field in March 1942, reporting thereafter to the 93rd BG (B-24s) at Barksdale, later moving to Ft. Myers, Florida, and Grenier Field, New Hampshire. In September 1942, he became a squadron CO, serving at Biggs Field and Topeka, Kansas. In December 1942, he became A-3, 389th BG (B24s), then being formed at Davis Monthan, later training at Biggs and Lowry Fields and then joining the 8th AF in England in June 1943. From December 1943 to July 1944, he served as A-3, 20th and 96th Combat Wings and operations controller, 2nd Air Division, and 8th AF. He then began a second tour, this time as CO of a Scouting Force, consisting of fighter pilots and former bomber lead pilots. This outfit, generally with 4-12 P-51s, preceded the bombers by 30-40 minutes, reporting route and target conditions, advising changes in plan, aiding formations, and reporting results of bombing. (In spare time 21 enemy aircraft were destroyed). In September 1945, he reported to the Office of Program Monitoring, Hq, AAF. This office was later incorporated with the Comptroller as the Program Analysis Division of which he became chief. In
