entered flying training, receiving his wings at Kelly Field in 1935. His furst duty station was March Field where he held various Sq jobs and finally became Adjutant of the 19th Bomb. Gp. In 1938 he attended the Engineering Course at Chanute Field. After graduation he remained at Chanute where he held various Sq jobs for the next two years. In 1941 he was assigned to Barksdale Field to assist in organizing the new Navigation training course and later became Dir. of Training of the Nav. School at Albany, Ga., and Monroe, La. In 1943 he became A-3 of the Eastern Flying Tng Command at Maxwell Fld. He went to the CBI Theater in 1944 and served as C/S of Flying Tng. Command and as Operations Officer, Air Forces, India-Burma Theater, and later same job in China Theater. After the war, he attended the Command and General Staff Course at Ft, Leavenworth and then served 6 mos. as Deputy Plans at Hq. AMC. In 1947 he became CO of Helicopter and Liaison Training School at San Marcos, Texas. In 1948, he became DCS/O for Flying Division, Air Tng. Command, from which duty he reported to the AWC. His proposed assignment is with the Military Mission to Turkey, exact assignment and station unknown. Jeff's hobbies are golf, fishing and hunting. His wife, Better, is from San Antonio. Children are Betty Lou (age 12) and Dick (9).

KENNETH W. MOSHER, COLONEL, USAF, 948A

"Ken" was born August 24, 1906 and lists Sandwich, Illinois as his home. He attended the University of Illinois, graduating in 1929. On graduation he received a 2nd Lt. Commission in the Air Corps Reserve in addition to his sheepskin. He enlisted in the Air Corps as a Flying Cadet in June 1929 and received his wings at Kelly Field in 1930. As a Reserve Officer, he was placed on extended active duty and reported to Selfridge Field where he was assigned to the 9th Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group. The beginning of an economy program cut his tour short in October 1931. The next several depression years he had several very short periods of active duty plus any work be could get including working on the "Sky Ride" at the Worlds Fair in Chicago in 1933. January 1934 saw him on active duty with the "CCC", which activity he stayed with until December 1940. He was a CCC Company Commander for a year and District Adjutant for the remainder of the time. He was ordered to duty with the Air Corps in January 1941 and served as Asst. Air Officer, Hq, 6th Corps Area, Chicago, Ill., plus Commanding Officer 6th CA. Air Corps Detachment which included Reserve Training. October 1941 he was transferred to the Training Command at Luke Field, Arizona where he served periods as Director of Ground Training, Director of Flying, Asst. Director of Training, Operations Officer, and Commanding Officer, Gila Bend Gunnery Base. He went overseas October 1943, reporting to Hq Air Service Command, New Delhi, India where he was assigned to the Plans and Operations Division, remaining in this Division his entire overseas tour. Returning to the US in December 1945, he was assigned to the Office of the Secretary of War, with station at St. Louis, Mo., as member of the Sec. of War Discharge Review Board.
