when he was assigned to Washington with the Adjutant General's office. He attended the Command and General Staff School's 5th Special Class in 1941-42, and soon after graduation went to London as an Asst. Adjutant General with Allied Force Headquarters. With that headquarters, and concurrently, Hq. MTO, he served at Algiers and Caserta until August 1944 when he became the Adjutant General of the Sixth Army Group which was in Command of the forces which invaded Southern France. He returned to the U. S. at the end of July 1945 and became the Ground Adjutant General at Ft. Monroe, Virginia. He joined the Air Force in April 1948 and was assigned as Asst. Air Adjutant General in the Pentagon until his student days began. His hobbies are fishing, golf, squash, tennis and painting. His next assignment is at Hamilton Air Force Base, California.  He is single.

ROBERT TAYLOR, III, COLONEL, USAF, 1347A

Bob was born in Baltimore, Maryland, 13 October 1913.  He was graduated from West Point in 1937 and from Flying School in 1938. He spent two years at Hamilton Field and then moved on to Spokane and Denver from where he went to Washington in December 1941 to work for four months as an assistant to the Director of Civil Defense. He joined the 44th Bob Group in May of 1942 and went to England with it in September of that year. After reaching England he assisted in setting up the Combat Crew Replacement Center program and commanded Chedington through which all of the B-24 crews were processed.  When Bernie Lay was shown down in May of 1944 Bob took command of the 487th Bob Group at Lavenham and moved on from there to the 13th Bomb Group where he was Deputy Commanding Officer when the war ended. Returning to the U. S. and the 26th Class at Leavenworth, Bob next moved to Washington and Air Force Intelligence. The Air War College was his next assignment from where he will return to Washington for work in the Central Intelligence Agency. His wife, Frannie, is from Cincinnati, Ohio. He has a step-son, John, 11, and a step-daughter, Louise, 15. Complete data on children will not be available until early in July. FREDERICK R. TERRELL, COLONEL, USAF 1121A

"Freddy" was born 13 November 1913, and Los Angeles, Calif. is his home. He graduated from West Point in 1936 and received his wings at Kelly Field in 1937. He was first an engineering officer and flight commander in fighters at Wheeler Field, T. H. In 1940, he joined the 89th Reconnaissance Squadron at March and later McChord Fields (B-18s and B-25s). He was Squadron CO and then Group Executive of the 47th BG (A-20s), which moved to Fresno, California. He became Group CO in January 1942 and took the 48 BG over the North Atlantic to North Africa in November 1942, where after 13 missions, he was appointed Deputy Commander of the Mediterranean Allied Tactical Bomber Force (A-20s, B-25s, and B-26s, US and RAF).
