capacities from clerk to head teller-purchasing agent. He enlisted in  the National Guard in 1928 being commissioned 2nd Lt. Infantry in 1933. Called into Federal Service in 1940 he attended the Rifle and Heavy Weapons course at The Infantry School then reporting to the 32nd Division at Camp Livingston, La. In April 1942 the Division moved overseas and after a period of intensive training he was ordered to attend the Senior Australian Staff course at Royal Military College, Duntroon, Australia. Rejoining the Division in New Guinea he served as Company Commander, battalion executive officer and battalion commander and as regimental S-3 and executive officer. In Feb. 1945 he returned to TIS as Executive Officer, Third Student Training Regiment (OCS). In 1947-48 he attended C&GSC, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan. returning to TIS as instructor - ex officer of the staff department. While at Ft. Benning he attended the University of Georgia acquiring approximately 2 years credit. He reported to AWC from TIS. His proposed assignment is European Command. Zino's  hobbies are woodworking, fishing, hunting. His wife Norma is from Monroe, Wisconsin. Children are Sharon (age11) and Ricky (age 4).
