C. Ledyard Blair, Esq.
Ambassador Hotel,
Park Avenue & 51st street
New York

My dear Mr. Blair,-

I telephoned to you upon my arrival, and to my great astonishment was told that you are at the Ambassador.

I will only stay here a fortnight and would very much like to shake hands with you. I would also like to talk to you about the book that I am writing, and in which I speak of the collections in America.

Would you be kind enough to give me an opportunity to see you. Please do not give me an appointment for Sunday as I will be in Philadelphia.

I hope that you and Mrs. Blair are enjoying good health, and I beg you to believe me,

Yours sincerely,
