My dear Mrs. Blaustein:

We have been entrusted with the sale of one of the most important VAN GOGH landscapes, which comes from a leading European collection.

This painting is at present at my galleries at the above address and I would very much like to have an opportunity of showing it to you. On the other hand, as I go to Washington frequently, I would gladly stop off in Baltimore and call on you - at which time I could give you some further data.

In any event, I would enjoy the privilege of making your acquaintance and of seeing your collection, of which I have heard so much.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
