March 14th, 1939 Dear Leigh: I had hoped to have some word from you by now regarding the question of trying out and hanging the Degas, "Laundresses" as well as the small Pissarro, "Landscape" which "Mar" liked so much, or possibly even the Segonzac water color which was hanging in the gallery. Did you measure the space? I would really like to send these things out for you to try in view of the fact that you liked them so much, and the Degas could be hung up without its present frame, merely to give you an idea of the size, and also you could see about the possibility of putting a mirrored frame around it, such as we discussed. Needless to say, I would be very pleased and proud to be able to do some business with you, and look forward to hearing from you in this regard. It was grand seeing you both while you were here, and I hope you will come east soon again and often. With fond greetings to you both, and let me hear from you. As ever - Yours, (Robert M. Levy) Leigh Block, Esq. 3100 Sheridan Road Chicago, Illinois ^[[GS]]
