My dear Mr. Borchard:

I send you herewith two clippings which I think will interest you. One is about the Rembrant which you saw at our galleries some time ago, and which is really one of the finest, if not the finest, picture of the first period of Rembrant. The other clipping was published a few days ago, by one of the New York papers. 

Hoping these lines will find you and Mrs. Borchard in good health, and with the best compliments of the season, in which my cousin joins.
