Dear Mr. Borchard, -

I has unfortunately been impossible for my cousin and myself to come and see you and wish you good bye. We have both been laid up with the grippe these last few days, and business has been crowding up.

We are sailing to-morrow on the "Franc and these lines are to wish you and Mrs. Borchar good health, and to tell you that we are looking forward to seeing you next Spring in Europe, and to have the privilege of returning you your charming hospitality.

Will you kindly remember us to Mrs. Borchard and believe me,

Very sincerely yours,

S. Borchard, Esq.,
