December 11th 1923

My dear friend, -

René and I have just returned to the States. As we thought you would be in New York with your charming sister-in-law, we rang up all the hotels where we thought you might be.

I expect to be in Chicago Thursday the 20th inst. just for a short time, and I hope to be able to see you and your dear husband.

Looking forward to this pleasure, I am,

Most sincerely yours,

Mrs. Edgar Born
Glencoe, Ill.
