Edgar Born, Esq.,
Glencoe, Ill.

My dear Edgar,-

The bearer of this letter is a member of our New York firm, Mr. Clyfford Trevur. I told him to call on you if he needed anything, but I hope he will just have the pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Up to the last moment, I hoped to be able to go to Chicago myself; unfortunately business is so good in Europe that Germain cabled me to come back immediately.

I hope to see you and Adele next Fall. Please give her my best love, and hoping that these lines will find you both in good health, believe me,

Yours very sincerely,
