October 13, 1956.

Dear Mr. Brown:

I am glad you enjoyed the books, which arrived safely and are now back in place.

Meanwhile I see that Cathedral Mountain Lodge has opened and no doubt you will therefore be in contact with people from all parts of the country on visits, many of whom I hope will share your interest in art. Couldn't someone arrange to have paintings by your local artists hung somewhere abouts, as vacationers always seem to be in a buying mood.

Should you at any time wish to have my criticism of your own work, send along ordinary photographs - snapshots - and I will tell you exactly what my reactions are without trying to be kind.

Yours very sincerely,

Mrs. Theresa D. Parker.

Mr. George E. Brown,
