Dear Sirs:

You will be pleased to hear that we are in receipt of a cable from Messrs. Christie, Manson & Woods, London, advising us that the shipment you forwarded to them per S. S. "Queen Mary" reached them in good order.

We are, therefore, enclosing check to your order in the sum of $1,000.00 (one thousand 00/100 dollars) being in full payment of the balance due on your invoice of June 6th.

Will you be good enough to send us a receipted invoice in duplicate?
