Collected by Capt C L Hooper U.S. Revenue Cutter Corwin Herald island [[?]] 1881. There are 3 Herald Islands in Russia (its Arctic) New Zealand and Australia. Corwin served as a revenue cutter in the Arctic Ocean and Bering Sea, at one point landed scientific parties on Herald Island. So must be the Russian Herald.
