British East Africa AKA East Africa Protectorate. In 1920, became the colony of Kenya. This is a special one: Edmund E. Heller (1875-1939) was invited by Theo. Roosevelt to join his East Africa Expedition. Heller was one of three naturalists in that party. (JSTOR Global Plants) If we can figure out where he was on Aug. 9, 1910 we'll get the location. 3.
